What is a monthsary?
A monthsary — a blend of “month” and “anniversary” — is a monthly anniversary. Couples celebrate it on the same calendar day each month they got together: if your first day was the 6th, every 6th is your monthsary. Popularized in the Philippines and loved across Southeast Asia and Korea, it's a sweet way to celebrate love without waiting a whole year.
How to calculate your monthsary
Take the day of the month you became a couple — that's your monthsary date forever. Started on June 15? Your monthsaries fall on July 15, August 15, and so on. Because months vary in length, the gap between two monthsaries is 28–31 days, not a flat 30. This calculator does the running total automatically and shows the date of your next one.
Why couples celebrate monthsaries
Monthsaries matter most in the early, exciting stage of a relationship, when every month feels like a milestone. They're a sweet excuse to say “I still choose you” on a regular schedule — and a favorite of long-distance couples who count every day together.
